Your team

Invite teammates by email, see pending invites, change roles, transfer ownership, remove someone, accept invitations from other organizations, and leave an organization.

Open Members

You manage your team on Settings → Members. Owners and admins can invite people, change roles and remove members. Only the owner can transfer ownership. Members see the list of people and their roles, with no controls.

The role decides more than this page. Connecting and configuring channels is admin work: a member can't change a WhatsApp number's settings, submit business verification, or request, attach or release a phone number. The server refuses them with Administrator access is required.

Workspaces & roles explains what owners, admins and members can each do.

Invite a teammate #

  1. 1

    Open Members

Go to Settings → Members. The Invite a teammate card shows how many seats you're using, for example 7 of 10 plan seats used (pending invites count).

  2. 2

    Enter their email and role

Type their work email and choose Member or Admin. Nobody can be invited as an owner; ownership is transferred instead.

  3. 3

    Send

Click Send invite. Two things happen:

    • We email them an invitation with a link to join.
    • The console shows the same link once, under the form, with a copy button: Invite created — share the link below. Copy it now if you want to send it another way, such as on WhatsApp. It isn't shown again.
The link appears once. The same link is in the invitation email.

Invitations expire after 72 hours

An invitation that isn't accepted within 72 hours stops working. There's no resend button. Revoke the old invite under Pending invites and send a new one. An expired invite stays on that list, and keeps its seat, until you revoke it.

Seats #

Every plan has a seat limit: Free 2, Starter 3, Growth 10. Pending invites count as seats, so an invitation nobody accepted still takes up room. At the limit, a new invite is refused: Your {Plan} plan includes {limit} team seats and they're all used (including pending invites). Upgrade your plan to add more. Revoke stale invites first, including expired ones, which still count; that frees the seat straight away.

Pending invites #

The Pending invites card lists each outstanding invitation with its role and expiry date, shown as member · expires {date}. Revoke invite (the X) cancels it at once, without asking for confirmation. The link stops working.

What your teammate sees #

The invitation link opens a You're invited page naming your organization, who invited them and the role.

  • New to Amomic-AI: they click Sign up to accept. (Someone who already has an account but isn't signed in uses Sign in below it.) The sign-up form has their email filled in and locked. After they verify their email, they land straight in your organization.
  • Already signed in with the invited address: they join automatically.
  • Signed in with a different address: the page says You're signed in as {a}. Sign in with {b} to accept. They need to sign out and sign in with the invited email.

When they're signed in, the page also offers Prefer to create your own workspace? Set one up instead, for someone who'd rather start their own organization.

An expired, revoked or already-used link shows Invitation not valid: This invitation has expired or been revoked. Ask your admin to re-invite you.

When they join, the person who sent the invite gets a New member joined email, unless you've turned it off in Notifications.

Change a role #

In the Members card, use the role select on a person's row to switch them between Member and Admin: Role updated. It takes effect immediately.

You can't change your own role or the owner's. An admin can't make anyone more senior than themselves.

Transfer ownership #

Every organization has exactly one owner. The owner is the only person who can change the plan, pay and add credits. To hand that over:

  1. 1

    Pick the new owner

On their row, click the crown icon (Transfer ownership). Only the owner sees it.

  2. 2

    Confirm

The dialog reads They get full control of billing and the workspace, and you drop to admin. Only they can hand it back. Click Transfer ownership.

You become an admin at once. To get ownership back, the new owner has to transfer it to you.

Remove someone #

Click the bin icon (Remove member) on their row and confirm. They lose access to this workspace immediately. Their conversations and history stay. Replies they sent, notes and tickets they worked all remain.

If they belong to other organizations, they stay signed in to those. If this was their only one, they're signed out.

Removing a person does not revoke their API keys

API keys belong to the workspace, not to the person who created them. When someone leaves, check Developers → API keys and roll or revoke any key they had access to.

You can't remove the owner. Transfer ownership first.

Invitations to other organizations #

If someone invites you to another organization while you're signed in, you'll see it in two places:

  • a banner at the top of the console, with Accept and Decline
  • the Invitations section of the organization menu at the top left

Accepting opens the new organization in that tab. Your roles in your other organizations don't change. More than one workspace explains how tabs and organizations work together.

Leave an organization #

Go to Settings → Organization and click Leave organization at the bottom. Confirm in the Leave {organization}? dialog: You'll lose access to its inbox, agents and settings straight away. An admin can invite you back later.

Any role can leave. Your other organizations aren't affected, and the tab moves to your next organization.

The only owner can't leave: You're the only owner. Make someone else the owner, or delete the organization, before you leave. Transfer ownership first. There's no button to delete an organization in the console. To close one down, write to support@amomic.in.
