# Home

> What the console's Home page shows — this cycle's usage, your agents and live channels, launch progress, channel health — and what each figure actually counts.

---

Home is the first page you see after signing in. It answers three questions at a glance: how much you have used this billing cycle, which channels are actually answering customers, and what is left to set up. Every member of the workspace sees the same Home page; it has no role or plan gate.

![The console Home page: a greeting, four figures (Conversations 3,482, Voice minutes 386, AI agents 4, Live channels 3), Launch progress at 6/6 and Channel health with Voice, Web and WhatsApp live](https://docs.amomic.in/screens/home/overview.light.webp)

*Home for a workspace that has finished setting up. The figures are this billing cycle's usage, not Analytics.*

## The four figures

The row at the top reads your billing cycle and your workspace, not the Analytics page.

| Figure | What it counts |
|---|---|
| **Conversations** | AI conversations used so far in the **current billing cycle** — the same number as the conversations meter on **Billing**. |
| **Voice minutes** | Voice minutes used so far in the current billing cycle. |
| **AI agents** | How many agents the workspace has, across every channel. |
| **Live channels** | How many channels show **Live** in **Channel health** below. |

A figure that could not be loaded shows `—` rather than a zero.

::: note Home and Analytics count different things
**Conversations** on Home is the billing meter: on web chat and WhatsApp one AI conversation covers up to 20 messages counting both sides (about 10 exchanges) or 24 hours, so one long thread can count more than once, and the count runs from the start of your billing cycle. **Conversations** on [Analytics](/console/analytics) counts threads that *started* inside a rolling window (24 hours, 7, 30 or 90 days) and leaves out preview chats. The two numbers will not match, and neither is wrong. See [Visible threads and billable AI sessions](/concepts/conversations#visible-threads-and-billable-ai-sessions).

## Launch progress

The checklist shows `{done}/{total}`, a percentage and a progress bar. Each item links to the page where you finish it. A done item turns green and greys out; nothing is ever un-ticked by hand.

The workspace server decides each tick from what actually exists, not from which buttons you clicked:

| Item | Ticks when | Link |
|---|---|---|
| **Create and customize your agent** | The workspace has at least one agent. | Agents |
| **Connect a knowledge base** | Any agent has indexed knowledge. | Knowledge |
| **Test your agent** | Any agent has a passed test run. See [Testing](/build/testing). | Agents |
| **Install the web widget** | Any agent is live on any channel. | Agents |
| **Connect another channel** | Any agent is live on any channel. | Channels |
| **Invite your team** | The workspace has at least two active members. A pending invite does not count until it is accepted. | Settings |

::: tip Why "Install the web widget" ticked without a widget
**Install the web widget** and **Connect another channel** use the same rule on purpose. A business that only runs WhatsApp or a phone line would otherwise never finish the list. Once any agent is live anywhere, both tick.

## Channel health

**Channel health** lists every place your agents can work, with a coloured dot and a status. **Configure** opens **Channels**. Each row opens where that channel is managed: **Voice** opens phone numbers, **WhatsApp** opens the WhatsApp channel page, and **Web** opens **Agents**, where website widgets are deployed.

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Live** | At least one connection is answering. **Web**: a website widget connection that hasn't been archived. **WhatsApp**: a sender with an agent assigned that isn't disabled. **Voice**: a phone number with an agent assigned. |
| **Set up** | The channel is available on your plan, but nothing is connected to it yet. |
| **Upgrade** | Your plan does not include this channel. See [Limits and plans](/operate/limits). |

Email is listed on the card as well, but it is not a channel you can connect today.

## Keep moving and Tips & features

**Keep moving** has three shortcuts: **Manage agents**, **Improve knowledge** and **Review conversations** (the [Inbox](/console/inbox)).

**Tips & features** plays the newest short walkthrough of a recent feature, with **Watch the walkthrough** and **Read the docs**. **All tips** opens the full list under **Tips & features** in the sidebar.

## The compliance banner

In a workspace based in India, while your business verification for phone numbers is under review, Home shows **Compliance verification in progress** — usually the same business day, up to 5 business days. **View status** opens **Settings → Compliance**. The banner disappears on its own once the review finishes. See [Verify your business once](/channels/phone-numbers#in-india-verify-your-business-once).

## Jump anywhere

**Quick jump** (or ⌘K / Ctrl+K anywhere in the console) opens the command palette, *Search pages, agents, knowledge, contacts…* — it also lists recent conversations, channel connections, and calls and phone numbers. See [Search instead of hunting](/console/overview#search-instead-of-hunting).

## Troubleshooting

| What you see | Why, and what to do |
|---|---|
| **We couldn’t load your setup progress.** | The checklist request failed. Reload the page; the rest of Home still works. |
| A channel says **Set up** although you connected it | **WhatsApp** needs an agent assigned to the sender, and **Voice** needs an agent assigned to the number. Connecting the number alone is not enough. |
| **Conversations** is higher than on Analytics | Expected — see the note under [The four figures](#the-four-figures). |
| **Invite your team** stays open | Invites only count once accepted. Check **Settings → Members** for pending invites. |
